Based on input from our Eastside communities and aligned with the Government’s ACE policy, MCA offers support to adults in order to increase their foundations skills. Examples of these classes include:
· Developing knowledge of Maori language and culture through te reo Maori classes.
· Assisting those how need support with the theory component of the Learners Driver’s License.
· Improving the spoken language skills of new migrants through a Diploma of Public Speaking.
· Increasing confidence and work skills around digital literacy through the provision of computer courses.
Our classes are advertised in our Inside Eastside newsletter and on this website and generally run along within the school term times.
If you have any questions about our adult and community education, please give our office a call on 07 345 5971.
